Matt Richards -
based in the Eastern US, Matt has over 35 years of jazz, classical and world music experience,
and has evolved an eclectic musical identity, sometimes described as; "guitar with a world of influences".
This century Matt's focus has been primarily on the acoustic guitar and the
fretless Glissentar, which he plays with his jazz-oriented trio.
Benjamin Badenhorst -
lives in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa and currently plays a seven string fretless crafted by by Brian Fanner
of B.F.O.C. Guitars which features a 3.5mm thick brass fingerboard and EMG 707 pickups.
Born in 1987, Ben started playing guitar at the age of ten and cites influences from Sarod (Amjad Ali Khan),
Sitar (Ravi Shankar), and Indian Violin (L. Shankar), as well as the Western fusionists;
McLaughlin, Di Meola, and Eric Johnson. There is a pronounced Middle Eastern / North African edge to his music.
